TRADE AREA - Show Aims, Trading Policy, Marketing, Enquiries & Booking space
This is a general information and floor-space/table reservation area for traders who wish to exhibit or trade at the show.
We would like you to be part of an exciting new bi-annual show on the Bonsai scene, making it extra special and attracting huge numbers of Bonsai enthusiasts and the general public alike in what will be a highly promoted event.
Inspiring new entrants to the hobby and invigorating present enthusiasts will be vital to the future prosperity of the wider Bonsai community, the many individuals and clubs that rely on this fascinating horticultural artform for their pleasure and those Bonsai professionals for whom it was simply a passion that took over their life!
Together, we can build a stronger future for all.
We hope to achieve over 3000 visiting members of the public, have over 10 internationally renowned Bonsai artists on site with 50 traders available to service the level of visitors to what will be a high-specification, highly prestigious show weekend.
IT WILL BE ONE SHOW YOU JUST CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS!
The show will have dedicated marketing across three social media channels, this webpage and also a dedicated smartphone app. The Federation of British Bonsai Societies will also publish regular email newsletters, part of which will launch this show news and promote latest news bites ongoing as it develops.
National and regional press, specialist Bonsai titles and The Japanese Cultural Mission, together with leading Japanese societies as well as local councils, hoteliers and industry will be embraced to join the shows promotion - as all will gain significant advantages in alligning themselves with the event.
For us as organisers, it is important traders have a successful show.
It is this success that will help secure the show in future years.
Traders are requested to be established, full-time professionals, those that rely on generating their living solely from Bonsai and other related services. Consideration will also be given to those that specialise in gardening supplies or Japanese arts and culture.
We will be looking to showcase leading exponents in every sector, with a fair and balanced mix of suppliers giving a depth of materials, products and services to visitors.
This policy should make it a highly productive and financially viable show for each individual trader.
As spaces per specific sector will be limited, it is important traders make their applications early - before June 30th 2020.
APPLICATIONS FOR TRADING SPACE ARE INVITED
Standard 2m long tables are priced at £60 each for the duration of the show.
A deposit of £10 per table is required with the balance due by December 31st 2020
Please note that suitable public liability insurance valid for the show period must be shown to the organisers office at east 3 months prior to the show opening.
If you or your company meet the criteria of a Bonsai professional as described above, then we would welcome your enquiry for the space you will need.
